Photobucket

Welcome to KLB's First Ever Group Discussion and our View on Larissa Ione's Eternal Rider.
Before we begin we would like to thank all the awesome bloggers for all their hard work for making this virtual journey the best ever! It was our first and it won't be our last...

Today is the last day of Larissa's Ione's Eternal Rider Virtual Blog Tour... The comments and feedback from everyone has been greatly received and appreciated. THANK YOU from the bottoms of our heart... Without you, the readers and the bloggers this would not have been possible and for that we are Eternally grateful! (Nice Plug right?) LOL!

Joining the Panel is Kat, Bells, Larissa, and Ms. Kitty who is joining the ranks of KLB as our Admin Support and Event Coordinator as well... <----- Welcome Kitty!
THE VIEW
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is enticing, and dark to anyone who's heard or read the story. With Lords of Deliverance Ione delivers a story that packs a punch! Its dark, seductive, and leaves you wanting more.

Kat: I just wanted to have a swoon moment. I LOVE ARES! HE IS HAWT! I WANT HIM TO BE MY DADDY! ROFL! Ares is strong, confident, and so damn Alpha it makes you want to bow down sit at his feet and pay attention.. There are not many characters who do that for me... He DOES that for me...

What did you ladies think of Ares?

Ms.Kitty: I loved Ares. All male...dominating...the epitome of tall, dark and dangerous. That being said...I have to admit I was drawn more towards Thanatos with his mysterious and snarky ways. I mean come on! His seal break when he loses his virginity...sorry ladies but the end HAD to come sometime and WHAT a way to go!

Bells:  I think that Eternal Rider was a great start to the new series.  I enjoyed reading Ares go from total hard ass, to loveable!  Larissa has done a great job of writing a new set of characters for her readers to get addicted to!  I love that she wrote about The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  It's a very interesting subject and can be downright scary at times.  I am also looking forward to the future books.

Larissa B: I loved Ares! he is the epitome of an Alpha male and Cara was so perfect for him! Juts the right amount of loving and soft against her kick-ass side! Love them together!

Ms: Kitty Cara...I kinda wanted to shake her at times. So...oh I am so damaged so afraid blah blah blah. But dammit if Ares didn't light a fire under her...ass...yeah lets go with that...

Kat: I can see how you would have an addiction to Than... He does that to a woman.. I for one am looking forward to peeling back the layers of his book... One clothing piece at a time... I wonder if his entire body is covered with Tats? Do you think? How about the relationship between Cara and Ares is a very interesting one... I for one found the relationship very realistic as far as Alpha males vs. Beta Female...

Favorite Scene in this book ladies?

Kat: Mine was when Wraith pops in with "I thought we were going to fight. Talk about lame. I'm seriously disappointed in you horsemen people". and when Ares tell Cara's he's a warrior not a nursemaid... I was like well dayum! Could you be any more meaner... but then he turns around and brings her a pillow! A freaking pillow, how totally lovable was he then for showing his softer side!

Ms. Kitty: It's a toss up...between the shower scene...ladies you know which one I am talking about. When Ares makes a particular list for Cara. OR chapter 19 with the Demonica crew. *sigh*

Bells: My favorite scene was the pillow scene as well.  It showed how sensitive Ares was.  You now he was in love with he when he wanted her to be comfortable.  :D

Larissa B: I gotta agree with Kitty! Im torn between the shower and the Demonica Gang cameo! That was so freaking awesome!

I should add that I was impressed but how dark this novel was. Much more than the Demonica ones and I loved it for it. Larissa has a way of melding Romance with dark fantasy that few can claim.

I am sooo looking forward to Limos story! She was awesome! =D

I wonder where Larissa will go next after this new series over. Will it be a new spin-off or something completely different? Whatever it is, I'll be there to read it =D

And this concludes our view on Eternal Rider... Ares is the man, we can't wait to see what happens next, Ione's writing is dark, sexy, seductive, and melding the hot and smexy together like it was nobodies business. We are all definitely looking forward to the next books, and are curious to see where Ione is going to write about next.

How about any of you? What are you looking forward to from Larissa Ione? Was there one thing that we didn't mention and you would like to add to the discussion?

  3. I love how Ares seemed pretty straight forward but in reality, there was so much more to him! Then again, Larissa always writes characters like that. I also enjoyed how I went into this book thinking it would be almost like a continuation of her Demonica books (seeing that they were taking place in the 'Demonica World') but it was so much more intricate than that. I loved all of the characters. Pestilence was one evil mofo. Hating him was easy, yet seeing him through his siblings' eyes makes me believe that he deserves a HEA too. Really, there isn't much I didn't like about this book. I can't wait for the next ones - and I love knowing that there are three more to come! :)
